About The Foundation
The Will Hardy Foundation, an approved 501(c)3 non-profit, is dedicated to fighting ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) by raising funds and awareness to support cutting-edge research initiatives nationwide and provide compassionate assistance to families affected by this devastating disease in the Utah area.
The Foundation was started in 2024 by Utah Jazz Head Coach Will Hardy. The fight against ALS is near and dear to Coach Hardy, as he lost his father to this terrible disease and witnessed first-hand how it affects families.
Coach Hardy and The Foundation team have been working closely with the University of Utah Health’s Neuromuscular Division to understand the impact of ALS on Utah families and caregivers and what support they need. ALS is a costly disease and very taxing on families, and Coach Hardy and The Foundation team hope to ease this burden for as many families in the Utah area as possible! In addition to local efforts, The Will Hardy Foundation aims to provide monetary assistance to cutting-edge researchers across the country in the hopes of one day finding a cure.
